It seems that the act of writing these positive sentences retrains your brain and even if you only do this for a minute of your day, over time this 1 minute of positivity DUPLICATES and as your mind begins to transform so does your life! Writing your own affirmations is a beautiful thing. 

I actually kind of like the idea of writing them in conjunction with your resolutions. You are thinking positively about yourself and the world when you write your affirmations and then to turn to your resolutions after putting yourself into such a positive spiritual state you are more likely to create resolutions you will follow through with and be fulfilled with.
